I'm so glad I randomly decided to log into the chat, or else I would not have found your music. This is an awesome track! I can visualize so many scenarios in this song. I simply wish it wasn't so short....

This track is really edgy and it's just screaming "action scene!". Although I do notice some odd reverb coming off your kick. Perhaps if you beef up the kick a bit more and slightly increase the tempo, this song will prosper!

Very good start so far

I noticed some jackass zero-bombed this as the first vote. Obviously they only heard the first two seconds.

This deserves no less than 5/5. The song evolved as it got further into the track, and it's very intense.

I think the only thing you need is a little bit more drum variation, but I guess that's just my opinion. I can't wait to hear the finished product!

D: Well thats some encouragement. This in my opinion is a mess, considering the glitchy drum parts are out of wack, the synths need work, and its a tad too loud. But I definatly need to get some variation in the drums, but that wont be hard. I hope to have this completed soon. Thanks :D

This is pretty cool.

I actually thought this was pretty decent. I really liked it when the bass picked up at 00:31. It sounds pretty professional. The only thing that bugged me was the doubled effect of the chimes, but that's probably the sound that you were aiming for. I could actually see this being used in a commercial.

If I were a flash artist, I would probably make a funny commercial to this song.

Wow, I need to increase my voting disposition..

The jerk before me rated it a 2, and I gave it a 5 and it only went up by 1.37....

What the frick was he thinking? This is a really awesome track. It has a very 'lost and hopeless' ambiance to it. If I use my imagination, I could imagine just walking alone in a gray misty void with no objects, no other people, and no way out.

In my opinion, you have title has captured this song perfectly, and I really do hope this gets a higher score in a short little while. It's worth it. Great job!

I actually really like this. Have you ever played any of the "Golden Sun" games for the GBA? This is what it reminds me of. It's very adventure-like and triumphant. For a first song, I think this is really good. Definitely beats mine by a few dozen lightyears.

lol, not only have I played and completed Golden Sun 1 and 2 but they are among my favorite RPGs of all time. Ya, this song is actually the theme song to my "Fire Side" concept. A story I want to publish in any form of media sometime in the future. And Fire Side has plenty relations to Golden Sun (but Fire Side is modern day). Thanx for the review, im glad you liked it. You could hear the full version in dont lead me astray (the rock sounding one). I'm planning to do many remixes from this song because this is the best melody I have ever created IMO.

Aaargh!

Holy crap, what a POWERFUL beginning! This song is evil. It's a creation of a mad scientist with musical affinity!
This is just like a zombie attack! You're sitting on your computer surfing the Newgrounds audio portal when all of a sudden they just smash through your window and try to annihilate you!

Yea this is a sick track. I usually prefer it when songs kind of "deconstruct" towards the end, rather than abruptly ending, but you pulled this one off perfectly with that zombie moan. Did you make that sound yourself?

It's been said already, but I'm gonna say it too.

You are superbly creative. I really like this track. The only things I think need a bit of changing to make it totally epic are to lower the distortion a bit. It's a little bit distracting when you're trying to absorb the rhythm and beat, and just to slightly lower the bass. I don't want to have lower my bass settings on my speakers just to hear the music, lol.

With that all being said, this is an excellent piece. Keep up the good work!

I can totally feel that intro. Nice heavy bass, and for some reason this song reminds me of soccer pump-up music. You're right about the name too! It really does make you want to turn up your speakers!

However, I think all you need to do with this is speed it up a bit. It's slightly too slow-paced, but that's just me being picky. This still kicks major gluteus maximus!
