After the 2nd time watching this through, I noticed something in the scene where she first meets the young man when he crashes. After he gives her back the toy that she made and she's holding it in her arms, watch its face wink at the screen.
I thought was a cute little "Easter egg".
I think it's fantastic how you included Kelen's Dagger of Transport. Are you a DotA player?
The way the ice cream bat is eating those steaks is making me hungry. It looks very satisfying o.O
Ha, thanks man. That little guy's got it good.
By the way, nice audio tracks.
This is the type of animation that could develop to become a series! Despite the somewhat repetitive sound effects and sometimes basic background work, this cartoon is most enjoyable. I love how simple the story is, yet it keeps the viewer interested in the plot.
I'm really hoping you got an A on this production!
Okay, so I know the art style was far below par, and the animation was choppy, but I found this oddly hilarious. My favourite part was when the yellow guy suddenly caught scent of the rotting corpse and his face became all scrunched up and his nose became more prominent.
I really like your humor, and personally, I think your drawing of facial expressions really helped with this.
The story very closely resembles the beginning of the Bleach series, and those little monsters are almost identical to the menos grande hollow spirits from Bleach, but this is probably all likely by coincidence.
I can't believe how professional your voice actors sound. Please make sure you give them extra cookies for their work!
Your drawing of facial expressions is brilliant, especially on the young boy, and the way you did the lighting was excellent. I laughed at the part where the camera was facing the boy while the girl fought off the monsters. The sounds are flashes of light were spot-on, and most comedic!
The only little thing I see that needs a bit of improvement is the rigidity of the girl's movement when she fights. Her poses and actions are very well drawn, but I think it may just need a few more frames in between to make it appear more fluid. But that's probably just me being picky.
Anyway, a 10/10, 5/5, and a pat on the back!
For a second Flash video, this is very decent. It definitely beats any creation that I could possibly make. (I've never actually made an animation in Flash)
You only lose two points on my review because the animation wasn't very smooth or fluid.
However, I give you 5/5 for the amount of effort you put into this as a beginner Flash animator and the potential you seem to carry with you.
Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for the honest review!
Excellent video! Your voice acting is very professional, and the colours and lighting used in this Flash are extremely fitting. If this were to hit theaters, I would definitely watch it, despite the fact that horror/thrillers are not my style. The ending was awesome. All I can say is 'Pwnt'.
Oh, and I noticed someone (Majal) say that because an oxygen tank exploded, the whole place would have gone up in flames, so they rated it 1/10. Anyone else who is going to review this video, PLEASE read this, because that reviewer is a retard for saying that.
The air we breathe is about 20-25% oxygen, along with other gases. The air in spaceships is also mixture of those gases (Nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide) 100% oxygen is considered toxic, so we don't breathe it. Wouldn't that explain why the whole planet doesn't explode when we light a match?
Doesn't that explain why when we light a match the whole world doesn't explode?
I couldn't help but laugh out loud when I saw the Lazytown dude.
I can only imagine how difficult this was to do. You have an awesome art skill, and the choice of music had me tapping my feet while watching this video. It is all very well synced, and the characters are very lively.
This is definitely one of my favourite NG submissions by FAR.
I'm beginning to realize how annoying artists find it when people say "Make more!", so I'll say something different: Keep up the brilliant work in all your future submissions!
And you're definitely added to my favourite flash artist list too!
To be honest, I was freaked out. Watching this flash movie at 1am does not help at all. That part where the pale lady was behind her in the mirror was incredibly freaky, and especially when she was beating the tooth-eyed demon as it was laughing at her.
This was surprising, and I did not suspect a thing.
